Notability remains an excellent note-taking and PDF annotation app which I have were use for a number von years now. Notability lets you easily import PDFs and documents and annotate them the way you see. You can also how the app's document scanner to create searchable multi-page PDFs to share from others.

I have been asked to create an app where I pick up a pdf (Order document) from a network share bring it into an app and be able to annotate ( mark up the pdf) and save to One Drive with the latest version ( annotated). Hi, I have lots of professional PDFs to read, plus I have to read and grade student work, which usually is handed in PDF format. I was thinking about buying a E-ink E-reader that could read easily PDFs, and that I could annotate with underlining, highlighting and margin notes, and upload to the PC, to send to the students or future rereading.
