The car consistently grinds between 1500-2000rpm when shifting into 3rd. It will occasionally have a good shift but about 60% of the time in normal driving, it will grind audibly. It sounds like a metal piece scraping on the ground. It is most likely to happen when accelerating through a turn and straightening out the car.

This is my first ford focus the transmission is slipping bad like its going out I've been reading other threads about the dct and am wondering how difficult swapping this transmission will be.
