Not a bad option but I like how this site is set up much better! The 1850 had the Perkins and the 1855 had the 310 Waukesha. We had 2 of the 1855's for about 15 years. After they reached 5 years old there were constant engine problems. The 1750 used this engine, then the 1755-1955. Anyway I’ll do a post on the super C too but the 400 is on this one.If the linkage is just kinda sitting there and twitching without putting any force on the arm, look at the linkages. BTW, even is it is something internal, its likely not a hard fix. Pull the floor plate, and then the speed cover...fix the roller cam assm, forks, etc, and drop them back into place..
