The big advantage of a butt joint, over a joint in the middle (which is most common with 2-piece rods), is that the joint is subject to much less stress when it is located further towards the grip. Both performed as expected with the stated specs. The 500g rod is a monster with a very parabolic springy feel to the bend. The Titan equivalent would actually be somewhere between the 565 and 566 models, probably closer to the 565 apart from the length. You won't go wrong with any of the three rods you mentioned.
